i simplY cannot warm up to this place. bY that i mean facebook in general (this pseudo-forum inclusive). i just feel like it tries too hard to provoke its waY into being either important or necessarY. like an entrY-level pusher but, unlike good dope, it ain't that compelling, it just insinutaes its waY in the waY microsoft did with their browser until Ya just fold in to their own visions of ubiquitY. i have to wonder if i prefer selective blindness.

i can appreciate fb as a evolution of the traditional phone book but as a host for apps i need some convincing. i definitelY see them marching towards an ipo. theY've sold themselves over-the-top (well, sides) to sponsors and advertisements. theY've arguablY done an admirable job at self-branding (i constantlY hear businesses on the radio/tv pointing to their fb space). i suspect theY'll at least have reliable back-ups and what gets stored/conversed here in *their* space will be roughlY eternal... good, bad & otherwise. like, when i wish to wash this forum awaY i don't even know to do so?? i guess it'll just drift awaY like dobie graY who passed this week:
