is this the future of forums? comment streams on facebook but no thought-out forum postings?

seems to be. Very little uptake as yet, although that could also be down to the low visibility of the forum pages on facebook - i.e. lack of compatibility for mobiles and inability to save the forum as a shortcut in the main menu on facebook. Perhaps it is too early to tell. I have no memory of the very, very early days of the old forum
