I would have gone ahead and taken the day off ... extending the New Year holiday since I worked all through Christmas while others took off  ... but no, Ms Dedication went in and got hammered (not in a good way, either) ... Grrrrrrrrrr

I must admit, I need a new pair of black dress boots ... kicked them off by the computer and dang ... those babies are stinkin'

I would have tried finding a good Spanish Rice recipe BEFORE pouring a glass of wine :/

I would have just ignored what he said. SOmetimes it's better NOT to talk about your problems. Especially when the problem will never admit he's wrong.

That I wouldn't have to work today so I could spend the whole day & evening with my sweetie! But, we'll make up for it the next 2 days!   Ok, I better get ready for work now.
