OFFLINE | SO I bought a p33-1 mono amp for some subs, and a 400 watt 4 channel amp for my other speakers.
I also bought the battery terminal connector (RF) and the 1 farad capacitor (RF) a dual amp install kit etc, everything in the car is RF except the head unit.
Am I correct in assuming that I am to strip back my positive terminal to my battery and put it in the new terminal connection from RF?
Also The amps that both amps require for fuse protection is 140 amps for both amps.
In the dual amp install kit I bought i got a single 100 amp fude, should I go buy a 140 amp fuse?
Also What does it mean in the instructions when it reffers to yje REM terminal? Does it mean I have to tie into something that only comes on when the key is turned to the ON position?
(my battery is in the trunk of my car, with the amps, but I dont know what I can tie into that will supply power when the key is on...in that area.
Also what can I chanrge the capacitor with?, can I just use my car battery?
Thanks so much for any help!, I am trying to use the search feature with not much luck yet.
I am disabled and havent tried to install a stereo since the 80's and things were much different then.
I have everything installed except the power amps, capacitor, distribution block, fuse block, and battery terminal connection.
Thanks again!! |
