Ok, I never liked facebook, but recently i started liking it. But it again turns out that all I like facebook is for this forums app, that's all. Facebook's stupid! What's the sense of having this??? Status updates, I have on Windows Live. Photos, I have on windos live. Own homepage, I have it there. Calendar, Messages, IM, I HAVE IT ALL THERE (though I still think Private Messages feature is waste as we already have e-mail)!!! But I'm here just for this forum app...

That's why I serious want this forum app to stand independent also, so i can just use it there on it's own link. Please Alan! Can we have this??? Please...

As you suggested, Forum will also be available as a seperate website.
Both the website and the app will be using the same interface and database so you can choose the website or the app since they have the same content .

Oh and then what credentials will we have to use for signing in? Please provide a feature to register using an email address directly, and also to link our facebook account.

you can just use a URL shortner for this.
I was wondering if we can use it apart from facebook. like those users who don't use facebook, they could use this forum too. as i wrote here:

but if your planning for using facebook account credentials only, then i guess it's really not required.

I would like to see if its possible to have users sign up though without having a Facebook account. Please let me know as well when it is up though. I would definitely love to be part of the community.

ok...facebook is good, if you consider only the status & pics part only. and forget the IM and the apps, then facebook is great...we get to comment on status and post...and the "like" button isn't much usefull, it's just for timepass...

but i wish we could decorate our profile...
