The wind has not been blowing the last few days, making the mornings so unusually silent. How I long for the south winds to pick up again; the warmth on my face and the sound of the trees as they make their music as they dance. You know, I wake before the early bird, but this morning they were singing as if they felt the need to fill this void. I stood between two birds in a battle of wits with lyrical linguistics so naturally beautiful I could not help but be absorbed in them. If you listen long enough in the darkness you can almost comprehend them. Did you know, if you talk to a mockingbird, he will talk back? Until one has heard the weeping of a song bird over the death of his mate, you truly cannot appreciate the joys that spring once again brings, not to mention the changing of the direction of the wind. Yes, I am aware I am babbling on and on, guess I am simply filling this void.
