 OFFLINE | so many guys when go to kill so many digimon for drops say we going to farming
or when some one hire some body for this work say need farmer
but you don't think that the -hunt- or -hunting- is better word
i don't stick out on this
but what are you think really?

OFFLINE | When I play on my main account for me it's hunting & leveling since I group and try my best to level. When I play on my other account I call it farming since I never group and just farm digimon not caring for the xp. |

OFFLINE | Don't know where it started, but all games use this word (Harvest Moon? lol).
Anyway, when you say you're gonna farm, it's expected you're doing it for an item. Because it's usually referred to, for example: "I'm gonna farm Beast data chip".
But "hunt" specially as the verb suggests, you're hunting an animal, a live being. It's strange to say you're hunting an item, maybe you could use "search".
But I think it's pointless to argue, as all games use this method. |

OFFLINE | In most games, farming and hunting are usually the same but farming is commonly used than hunting. |
