Hello,

I bought the new rig Deiv. I am completely clueless on how to install the plguins and everything. I cant get the licence to work. I really need some kind of guide. If someone can explain it to me thatd be great. Im not so great to at this kind of stuff so i need a really simple explanation like where exactly should i put what file in what order.

Hi there Sarp,

Follow these steps:

1 - Uninstall properly the asset (with the option unistall of the installer) and erase any license file you have in your computer. Actually, make sure you unistall any asset you installed before. 2 - Erase any file you have from any asset that you already downloaded from B23. 3 - Go back to boutique23.com and Make sure you've set up properly your license, in the SET UP LICENSE page.  4 - Once you SET UP your license you are ready to buy again. 5 - Buy the Asset (if you have a voucher, use it)4 - Download from the LAST purchase the new INSTALLER AND THE NEW LICENSE FILE. 5 - INSTALL. Do it in a different folder than before, just in case. For example: ...\b236 - YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLACE ANY FILE MANUALLY in your folders. in that folder you'll find the asset folder where you'll se the character.

I really want to be able to use theese rigs but the instroductions is not working for me. Please let me know when there is a video tutorial or something similar out for installing this. Plugins and scripts are just not running for me even after installation. I would start buying again the second this problem is resolved.

Should i do something different than just setting the installation folder as a project?

I dont see b23 plugin in my plugin editor. How should i trigger maya to automatically check the installation folder for plugins?

Ive never had a problem with the first four that were released very straight forward, my concern is if i were to buy any of the new rigs would that effect the other installed rigs, as im using PIO and Fort for my animated short.. i would hate to know i would have to repurchase them after spending quite alot already on getting the rigs for my PC and laptop.

Hi there Lee, You should not have any problem by installing new assets from B23.

I download the last purchase cause you cant use a voucher twice, the installer and the license file are the same and my rigg came broken and all weird.

I'm having the same problem.I downloaded a rig(Fort) using the voucher but it is broken.

Por aquí otro igual....Seguramente error con la licencia la primera vez que lo rellené. Creo que ahora está bien puesto pero no deja reutilizar el voucher para volverlo a bajar......... alguna sugerencia? Tenía ganas de que funcionasen para mac.. ay de mi!!!

now i know the previouse rigs have been perfectly fine when i bought all of them, so i decided to get the new rig and thought that my code would have been the same, only to find it wasn't looking back over it there was a code generator and now regret not using it as i now have a useless rig and i doubt i can get it sorted. and will probably have to pay again

i was so excited to get a new rig could t wait till pay day and i made a balls up...

it would be great if they could sort it for me, it would make my day

just remember all of you who bought before, make sure your code is right.

Tengo el mismo problema pero con windows. Desinstalé todo, borré los directorios, ingresé el número de licencia en la web, volví a descargar e instalar todo nuevamente, y siguen saliendo rotos los rigs.
Son muy lindos los rigs pero sinceramente es mas complicado instalar estos personajes que formatear la pc e instalar 3 sistemas operativos distintos, en 3 idiomas cada uno.

Hi there Guys,

Please note the important thing to buy an asset and be able to use it in your computer is to have proper license.
This needs to be done BEFORE you buy an asset.

We have changed the way licenses are generated from the first time we opened BOUTIQUE23 because users found it difficult to generate. This time we have created a SET UP license page so you can easily set it up.

Please note that previous licenses before our break are valid for characters you purchased at that time, but you do have to set up your license in the SET UP LICENSE page to buy further assets from now on.

It very easy to set up your license for a particular computer. Simply go to the LICENSE SET UP PAGE and follow the instructions. The only thing you have to do is to download a license generator, copy the license number that it's created, paste it in the LICENSE SET UP PAGE and save it. Once that's done you are ready to buy assets from B23.

If you download again assets that were bought with a NOT valid license code, it won't work even if you change the License Code later. We create the files you download for an asset every time you buy, and associated to the license code you had at the time of the purchase. We do this in case you want to purchase an asset for a different computer.

In all, basic way to work would be:
SET UP the license in the LICENSE SET UP PAGE for the computer you are going to use the asset. If the computer you're using the asset is the same of your last purchase then you do not have to change it or set it up again. Just leave it as it was. If the license is set up properly just as we explain, the character will work in your computer. If it doesn't work it's because your license is not correct for the computer you are using.

Ok i had an issue with the Deivi rig, due to my fault for not making sure the code was correct. after contacting Boutique23, i was asked to send them a new code generated by the code generator, as well as my email and user name. and promptly received my updated license installed and is now perfectly fine.

As i have said before ive never had problems, and making sure you use the new license generator (especially for the old users like myself) is an absolute must, just to make sure that everything is fine during purchase so that no problems will happen.

But if you do have a problem the service of Boutique23 is quick and easy.
