If you have verified the information through:


-- newspapers or online media (not hearsay or even your own experience if it was never reported))
-- abuse or assault registries
-- court documents

You can then post in the name of the person and the information including the sources for the info into the country and then state/province.

Please make sure that if you are coping info from the original map you check to make sure the links work. I found many that were inactive. You can then do your own search for that person. Google is petty good at finding them.

Make sure the name is accurate. I have found several people with the same name but in different parts of the US when you look at their picture or read their vital stats you see they are not the same person.


Each person will have their own folder that can be updated when more information is available.

If someone is arrested for a crime but the case is dropped for lack of evidence or for some other reason we can still have their name listed and say the case was dropped. But those names will not go on the maps.
