Hi All,

I have some questions about assigning moderators:

1) Since I created a forum, am I automatically a moderator of all categories?  Or do I need to assign myself?

2) Ditto for assigned moderators.  If I assign another moderator, are they automatically empowered across all categories and posts?  Or are they restricted to the categories where they're assigned?

3) Is it possible to assign multiple moderators to a category?  For example, I enter multiple ID's, separated by comma's or semi-colons?

4) I understand what a User ID is and how to find one ... with one exception.  How do you find a User ID for someone who has a "Username" instead of an ID?

THANKS ... and Merry Christmas!

OK ... I've got answers for all my questions except for number 4 ...

I tried assigning a moderator based on their Username but that doesn't work.  And since they have a Username in their URL instead of a User ID, I'm not sure how to find their User ID.

Thanks!

You simply click the user on your forum.
The URL will be something lik this http://apps.facebook.com/facebook_forums/user.php?forum=1&uid=100000668772517
User ID is the number after uid=

THEN YOU SAY:  OK ... I've got answers for all my questions except for number 4 ...

BUT HELP!:  I need the answer to #3, can you help me with number 3?  What do I put in the box to assign 2 moderators (or 3)? Crossing my fingers that it's possible to have multiple moderators and multiple administrators...

Hello there

Tried that with the multiple moderators but I can't figure out how to do it right? Comma, semicolon?

Edit: Got it, sorry, don't know why it didn't work before...

Question, the user who uses a username over an ID, do I copy the username the same as copying the number if they hadn't changed it?
