Hi,
I am trying to make a game character that is basically an alien blob, one of the challenges I am facing is that the character is arm-less (no appendages what so ever).

The problem is that I need to have the character "Grow"  an arm (or two) to shoot or handle things, I have tried to create a morph but 3DMax won't allow it unless the number of vertices match.

I have tried to create a model that simply scales up the hands (What was I thinking ) but the results were not right, I am however able to switch between two models at run time.

Any suggestions?

I am using bones to animate the character.

I am using Unreal Engine 4.13 for the Game engine and 3DMax (Student License) for modeling.
