| We got Champ from the humane society in Cheyenne. He had been willed to an elderly couple but they weren't able to handle his spunkiness. One of Ashley's friends that worked at the Larimer County Humane society told us there was an English Bulldog up for adoption. Our last bully had passed away about a year prior. We weren't sure if we were ready for another bulldog but we went up there to see him anyway. The first thing we noticed about him was his humongous head! After that there was no way we were leaving without him! He was named Billy the bulldog but we thought Champ suited him better. He's been a member of our family for the last 5 years. Hopefully he'll be with us for many more years...but maybe with a few less visits to SCVIM! |
