Hi  had mine put in in march 07, am currently awaiting a mri scan to check the status of my implants.
i would like to wellcome all members that have been affected by the pips that hmg (harley medical group) has implanted. here you will find ladies in simlar situations who used the same company.

well i heard back today about my mri, local hospital dont scan for implants so have been passed to another hospital, just waiting to hear how long i have to wait before my scan hope its nt long im going mad not know where i stand

who was your surgeon if you dont mind me asking?

Hi ladies - I had mine done in 2006 with HMG...im currently 7 months pregnant & living in Switzerland, not ideal circumstances for all this to be happening!!

I finally, after a week of trying to get answers, spoke with HMG yesterday who advised seeing a doctor here and getting an ultrsound for my boobs, can I ask why you're waiting for an MRI when it seems a regualr ultra sound can tell damage? having had an MRI done in 2010 for another issue i'd rather not go through that again if a simple scan can work??

Any advice on what your GPs have told you back in the UK would be greatly appreciated!

mri are clearer than ultra sound hon , if you look for pics in the facebook group you can clearly see the mri is alot more clearer and harder for leaks and ruptured to go un noticed x
