We have been doing the duct tape thing, typically one team receives tape as an identifier.

To me this seems unfair unless both teams are wearing tape, but that gets really expensive for the field.

Chad suggested marker tape, but after looking at it, its seems to use (chuck and I) that it would rip fairly easily and it needs to be tied on taking more time.

If anyone can come up with a more cost effective fair solution please let us know.

So I got this idea that I need some veterans to help me with... We been using blue duct tape to mark one of the teams, and this is sufficient, but long term duct tape gets expensive. Chuck and I were thinking those sweat wristbands / armbands you can get at athletic stores or walmart. The blue ones. I think you can get a pack of them for like 5 bucks. If we could get the veterans to pick up a pack and instead of being taped just slide that on the outside of your clothing on an arm or wrist. The idea is like death rags, people will say hey were did you get that, and you can say walmart or an atheletic store, and boom next thing you know everyone is bringing a blue sweat wrist/armband to use when they are on the blue team. Something else we need the veterans to do if they don't already is to use your red death rag. As REFs we are starting to notice more and more players not using them so we are going to start pushing harder for people to have them.

Talked to an associate about actually making red/blue velcro straps, material cost was estimated at about 1.50 per, asked them figure out what final cost would be at 3 or 4 inches wide and 10 inches long with 6 inches of velcro, then to figure out total cost for 50 each, will know more in a day or so

Fabric is the same cost reguardless of color, adding a patch wouldnt be hard, embroidery may have to be done by a professional though, both would add to initial cost.

Thought of red and blue because of the Dirty Dozen with Lee Marvin, but any color would work. Will know more in a few days.

Not red cause of hit calling needs to be like two colors that are hard to confuse blue is fine need a completely opposite color maybe yellow
