My name is Jenny.  I originally created the HSEduFreeMarket group on Yahoo in 2007.  Since I use FB so much more than Yahoo and I am trying to downsize my "internet" life a little, I decided to move the group to Facebook!  I am so excited for this transition!

We have been homeschooling off and on since 2004.  We (my husband, Joe, and I) have 4 children, 3 at home and 1 in college.  Our daughter(15y) will be attending OHVA(an online school) from home starting this fall(2011)and our two youngest boys (6y & 1y) are traditionally homeschooled.

Like many other homeschooling families we live on an extremely tight budget, so homeschooling for FREE is our first choice!!!

I love scouring the internet for new FREE educational resources!

I love your facebook page much better than the yahoo group! I have already found tons of resources on here that I plan to use! We are a one income family, so free is always good! So far, this school year we have only done math and some handwriting..2 days so far! I plan to take breaks during the first week of my school terms and also my finals weeks. that way the school year is over by late April, then start the new school year in June when I am done with school.
