if $800 billion in stimulus spending didn't solve our economic problems, how could $100 billion in spending cuts, that the republicans want, ruin our economy, as is being argued by the democrats?

IMO to get people to really think, one must get the real facts out and not the half truth and blatant mis-information that is being put out there by the modern day Walter Lippmann and Edward Bernays' 4-minute men.

true, but to really get the people to wake up, it takes a threat to their way of life. otherwise, most are just apt to tune out, and get wrapped up in their personal affairs.
