Regarding teachers in public worker unions, I cannot understand why a teacher who works 180 days a year, has the audaciousness to expect over compensation in the form of benefits in which the taxpayer foots the funding.  In my opinion, the situation in WI is far overdue. Teachers in a public worker union, I feel, have completely forgotten where their loyalties should be. Given the fact that their wages, healthcare, pensions, along with some outrageous benefits, are funded by the taxpayer, you would think that they would appreciate us more so than they do. You would think our students across America would be leading the globe in education. I don’t think these teacher care one bit where their paychecks come from and more importantly, I don’t think that these public worker union teachers, care one bit about teaching. If they did, our students would be doing as well as students in private and religious schools. Teachers have lost their loyalties along the way - and have abused the taxpayer in doing so.
