I have a situation, in April 2014 my H1B was filed under Capped limits and it got approved in Aug 2014.
The expiry date mentioned on my I-797 is Sep-2015. I never traveled to USA so far on any visa. I am still outside USA. I have 2 questions here.
1. what is implication of exp. date on I-797 versus 6 years of general validate date on my case?
2. If I dont use this petition (no H1 transfer before Sep-2015, which is exp. date on my I-797) then can i use it for H1B transfer (H1B under uncapped) in 2016 and say upto six years from 2014 |
