Per the Chile Monster's request, here is the recipe for the AMAZING green chile Juicy-Lucy's! =)

It's so easy! Make your hamburburgers as you normally would, only make them thinner. Place cheddar and green chile on the top middle of one of the thin patties, then place another patty on top and "mush" the edges together to seal the patties together. Then, grill as normal! DEE-LISH!!!!

If you need an actual recipe; here you go!

JUICY LUCY’S – STUFFED CHEESEBURGER

Things You'll Need
2 Slices of hearty white sandwich bread, torn into rough pieces
1/4 Cup milk
1 Tsp garlic powder
3/4 Tsp salt
1/2 Tsp pepper
1-1/2 lb 85-percent-lean ground beef
Cheddar cheese
Chopped Green Chile

1.Using potato masher, mash bread, milk, garlic powder, salt and pepper in large bowl until smooth. Add beef and gently knead until well combined.

2.Portion into eight even units. Pat until they are a thin round patty that's slightly larger than the cheese slice.

3.Turn the 8 patties into 4 patties by sandwiching a cheese and green chiles between two individual patties and then pressing tightly around edges to seal. Crimp the edges tightly so that the cheese will not blow out of the hamburger.

4.Preheat a heavy-bottomed pan to medium heat or cook them on your outdoor grill. Note: The burger may puff up due to steam from melting cheese while cooking and this is normal.

5.Flip, and using toothpick, prick top of burger to allow for steam escape. Allow burger to cook 3 to 4 minutes on this side.

6.You MUST let the burger cool before eating. The cheese will be very hot and you will burn your mouth if you bite into it right away.

Looks like Minnesota and Mew Mexico got married and had a baby. The Minnesota part may not seems like it's adding much to the party, but the melted cheese on the inside is magic. Love it!

Linda, you are right! I got the idea watching Man v. Food on the travel channel when he went to Minneapolis! Being a native New Mexican, I added the green chile flair!!!

Kristi, I'm kind of nuts for both NM Green Chili Cheese Burgers and Jucy Lucys from Matt's in Minneapolis but never thought to put the two together. You are so smart!

That looks good! I posted a similar version I do, but I like the meat to remain fairly simple. Mind is an iron skillet prep.
