Shred up the cabbage, add some crushed pineapple, some grated carrots, GREEN CHLI , cole slaw dressing mix well and EAT.

Does anyone have a recipe for homemade cole slaw? Made with the homemade dressing? I had one from a friend of mine from the south that was great but I've miss placed the recipe. Can anyone help?

I have a recipe that I have published on Allrecipes that gets rave reviews. It is sweet.
Sweet Restaurant Slaw
1 16 oz bag coleslaw mix
2 TB tiny diced onion
2/3 c Miracle Whip salad dressing
3 TB vegetable oil
1/2 c sugar
1 TB white vinegar
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp celery seed ( or poppy seeds)
Combine coleslaw mix with onion in large bowl.
Whisk rest of ingredients in medium bowl and blend.
Pour over coleslaw mixture, toss to coat.
Chill at least 2 hours, longer the better.
