3 chicken boulion, cubes
5 14 oz cans dhicken broth
6 cups milk
3 lbs chicken breasts ( I use canned)
1 tsp garlic pwder
1 onion, medium finely chopped
1 green chili,chopped
1/4 geen chili HOT chopped
4 to 5 green chilli chopped (opt)
1 C half and half
salt and pepper
Roux
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 C flour
Bring chicken both and cubes to a boil in a large pot. Add chicken,green chili,onion, and garlic. simmer 20 mins. Add milk bring to boil again, Meanwhile,in a small pan, melt butter then add flourcooking until paste like. slowly add to boiling soup. simmer for 30 mins. If simmering longer stir often. just before serving add half and half.
May keep leftovers refrigerated 3-4days.
