I really don't have a "recipe"...Everyone asks me for it all the time and it is just something I have thrown together for years.
But I use about 6 cups of cornbread, and 2 cups of bread or bread crumbs. Place in large bowl.  Chop 1/2 pound of bacon and fry it.  Remove bacon from pan, add it to bread mixture and saute 1 small, finely chopped chopped onion, and 3-4 finely chopped celery stalks in the bacon grease.  Add to bread mixture(grease too). Cook sausage.  Drain it before adding to bread mixture.  Add 1 cup finely chopped green chile, and 1 cup roasted pinons.  I add 1 can of chopped water chestnuts to give it texture.  I then start adding chicken broth and melted butter, mixing it until it sticks together,( I usually start with one stick of butter, and 1 carton of chicken broth) and is not "dry".  I add garlic powder, salt, pepper and sage to taste.  You can add more or less ingredients to suit your family's taste.    Bake it 13 x casserole pan at 325 degrees until a light brown crust begins to form on top.
