is the daughter of William Hamble GREAVES and Jane Ausin Ward (married 1859). Jane's siblings are Hugh Edward GREAVES (1860), William Humble Jr GREAVES (1861), Edith Griffith GREAVES (1864), and John Springer GREAVES (1869).

Jane married Josiah Gabriel Alleyne Searles (c.1859) of St Thomas, Barbados
the son of John William Francis Searles and Ann Leacock Cheltenham (married 1857) in St James, Barbados 1884.
