New life (Susan!) and the end of life (((((Barb))))). A never ending circle...........

Didn't sleep well last night so I'm a bit cranky today. Oh well. Tomorrow.... off to the cabin. Maybe????? I hope! looks like snow this weekend and Ralph tries to stay away from the snow...... pffft. What a sissy! Sometimes he's such an old man!  lol

St. Paddy's Day used to be a big celebration for me.... of course that was when I was married to the Irishman. I love colcannon, but Ralph doesn't do potatoes, cabbage or bacon, so what's the point???

Guess I'll just pour a little whiskey in my coffee and call it good! Better find me a Czech holiday!!!

Apricot trees are blooming... a sure sign that crappy weather is coming in!

We call Wednesday's "hump day" because it's mid-week.  After Wednesday, you're over the hump and are on the downside of the work week.

Good afternoon all..... busy busy week...but onto the weekend.... a getaway...just a local motel...but should be NICE

Scott....glad to hear that YOU could clarify "hump day"....sure hope you got some humping done yourself

Barbara.... glad to hear that your uncle qualified for hospice....it is very comforting...most especially for the family to prepare for the inevitable.

Susan... congrats to you...once again -- grandma!  Oh...and hope you have fun visiting Mark's parents too.

Jann.....I didn't do a darn thing for St. Paddy's Day...but work..and wear green (and take in green too...I guess!)

Congratulations Susan to your daughter as well.  I love the name!!  Iris' middle name is also Nicole.  

Now you have 2 to spoil and boy I can see the gifts coming now.... especially for little girls they have the most adorable stuff!

Yesterday we had a beautiful Spring day hitting 76 but today OMG how it is chilly & windy!!  Only hitting 50 today and the rest of the week looks to be rainy and or very chilly.  

Nothing new on my end other than my weekend shores and running around.

Good Sunday Morning all!

I'm sick this Morning but just finished cleaning...how come when I get sick...I still have to do everything...and when the Hubby get's sick...he gets to lay on the couch and do NOTHING!

It rained all last night and really windy too...the dog kept jumping on and off the bed...as she's afraid of the wind.  Damn...Dog!  I got NO sleep!

Making a big pot of soup today...goes with the weather.

It's cold and the snow is blowing. Ralph accidentally pulled the damper out of the woodstove.... so we had to let the fire go out and let it cool down so he could try and put it back together.

He's been working on it for several hours now.... the pipe is in a bad place.... and well, he just decided to open the bottle of VO.....

he's a wee bit cranky....

me..... I was reminded of something that happened in high school.... and I've been laughing ever since....

wah ha ha ha hahahahah!!!!
