 OFFLINE | Not a particularly great week for me. On Monday evening my girlfriend's daughter was found dead. No idea how long she had been dead when the police found her. Her funeral will be Saturday in Fallon, so I am leaving L.A. right after my aunt's funeral to get home for that. Will probably drive half way tomorrow night and then half way on Saturday.
Jennifer was 42. Way too young to die.
I'm beginning to feel very old.
Spent today with dad going through bank statements, getting my name on the safety deposit box.... etc. Just in case.
And we had a bit of a discussion on what happens if (God forbid) he dies before my mother. She is in the early stages of Alzheimer's...... ugh.
Anyhow. Did get to spend some time with my niece and great niece.
I just want to go home.

Was actually sleeping this morning, but my husband called at 6 AM to let me know he went to see his late wife's mom yesterday. He signed over his cemetary plot to her. Huh?
Seems like death and talk of death is all around me. Guess that's what happens when people die. Gets everuone thinking about death and the things you need to do.
I'm ready to go to Belmont and get away from doom and gloom.

Becky, hope you had a nice Birthday! Now onto Bryan's!
Won't be around much today...just finished payroll for the guys...and at 10am off to the hospital for more pre-op stuff for my Uncle. Then they decided to schedule a electro-cardiogram test at 1:30 today...so it's all day at the Hospital! BLAH!!!!!
Probably have to come into work tomorrow to finish what was suppose to be done today!

OFFLINE | Tried to get home tonight, but stopped in Bishop (about 3 hours short).
Funerals are exhausting. Good seeing the cousins though. Amazed at how old they all are. And I'm the oldest, which makes me.....????
