ok im trying to help here about how to use gladiators..even tough it is just super straight forward class,ihave decide to make one

what is gladiator

A gladiator in Aion is a physical semi-ranged melee DPS class along with many defensive abilities.they could also considered as tanks due high defense and high amount HP

Gladiator is also the main physical AOE class in the game due their low CD AOE skill chain..

Gladiator Weapon

The main weapons a gladiator use = Polearm and Greatsword and both are strike weapons

1. Great sword = High base accracy,lower crit,and move consistent damage output plus faster attack speed.better for PVE DPS

2  Polearm = Lower base accuracy,higher crit, and non consistent damage output.slower attack speed better for PVP weapon comes in handy.



Godstone

Since gladiators use for strike weapons. they benefit the most from godstone due to higher proc rates.Godstone proc rate is based on per strike and having strikes on a weapon means proc chances.

before 3.0 gladiator used silence godstone with 5 % or 10% proc rate.The reason for this is because the skill "Remove shock' could not be used while silence and that leaving gladiators with the ability to stunlock(more like KDlock)a target.

Caution server zeal aion silence godstone only for magic user..i do recommed using blind for physical attack,slow,root,para or Attspeed reduction..


Manastone

Gladiators'burst and random KDs come from Crit.so Socketing(CritStrike)is the ideal choice.for a gladiator

Gladiators also need Accuracy and from what i have tested when il play on other server till now zeal aion
Accuracy does increase your weapon's consistency with dealing damage,especially using a spear.

I do not recommand socketing(ATTACK)for pvp because Gladiator do not benefit from ATTACK Manastone as directly as other classes since rely on base weapon damage


The mechanics behind ATTACK manastone.

Lets say u have 600 att with 300 base att with no attack manastone socketed and if you use and if you socket 10 att5's =50att.
Now you will be having 650 att but your base att is still going to be 300.

And since all of your ATTACK% increase buff are based on "BASE Attack" socketing att does little to no benefit to you.

lets compare the difference between 50 att from manastone "lol statistics rule"..

with 300 base att.
no buff:650 att.
beserking:650 (300x80%)=890
blessing of nezeken:890=(300x80%)=1030

As you can see after using buff those 50 att from manastone are not significant and it will become less significant if you use more buff..that all for today
