We have been using the many resources of www.givingrocket.com since our first interest meeting.

We used the "30k in 30 days" resource to intiate two phases of fund raising.  An initial "we are all in" offering of our launch team that resulted in 31k in 5 days and now a "launch Freedom" offering we are taking at the 90 days into launch group phase asking for an additional 39k.

Casey Grahams resource gave me the language and the confidence to make the big ask of people and talk about money.
I have preached 5 times to my launch team so far and have had one entire sermon on generosity and each message has eluded to the core value of Freedom Church in some way.

Because of this effort we have raised over 60k in our launch team phase so far and expect to have a total of 90k in the first 90 days.

Wow, that is a great story...
I think one of our biggest challenges was not having enough resources before launch. We are still chasing it, and are struggling with monthly finance.

I know Casey, but we have yet to take the plunge to buy in, seeing as we are at a deficit already. Sounds like a worthwhile investment.

Hey Shawn, well done man! If I could go back and do it again, I definitely would have posed an initial challenge to our launch team - challenging them to really own the mission and demonstrate generosity and investment - prior to launching into a separate fundraising campaign.
