OFFLINE | I "used" to love to garden. But as i have gotten older and with the "extreme" heat during the years past, i have kind of lost my hobby. Oh not to mention those damn Japanese Beetles eating my beautiful rose bushes. My yard is now a jungle, of overgrown greenry. I don't do the annuals, so everything comes back from the previous year, usually double. I also have house plants, in the past year i have lost a few plants which isn't normal for me. I used to have so many that it looked like a jungle inside my home as well. I am a believer that plants are a meter for relationships, so knowing that i "lost" a few plants last year, isnt good in my friendship/relationships. I always used to buy plants at garage sales and bring them back to life. One of the plants I finally let go was the "easter lily" from my grandfather's funeral from 1998, it died this year. Plants are just a hobby I need to pay attention to more. |
