So, I've watched the whole thing now. (At least, I think I have, I've watched an entire 26-episode story arc. So if there are more seasons somewhere, that's news to me!)

I really liked it! It was pretty shoujo, which isn't usually my thing, but it's not a turn-off if there's enough other story to support it. I would have liked a little more exploration of the zodiac curse, myself - that was more interesting than who was going to win Tohru's heart - but it was still fun!

Kyo's original-form thing wasn't very well explained and I didn't like that. Why does the cat have an original form, but no one else?

Was the doctor supposed to be a true Zodiac member? I don't remember a seahorse (or really, ANY fish) being part of the cycle ...

The touch with the cow carrying Yuki home on his back was a cute one. I wish they'd showed the irony of that task hitting them a little more deeply.

I've also just finished watching Clannad, which had all the shoujo I could ever want and was a cute story - but it left me wanting more. WHY DO WE CARE who Tomoya ends up with?! At least with Fruits Basket, there was a curse to solve. Based on my enjoying Fruits Basket but not being satisfied with Clannad, does anyone have any recommendations for what to see next?
