"Goo to you?  Really?"  Yep!

That guys a tool.  His entire argument is "Its too complex to understand, so I'm ganna misrepresent all the scientific evidence in favor of evolution and say God did it."  Clearly this individual doesn't understand whats being argued by evolutionary biologists (somewhat redundant title).  Nor did he offer any actual evidence against evolution (just a lot of half baked anecdotes).  No one is arguing that we're descended from crocodiles.  As for the name of his lecture and the punchline he kept harping on, apparently he doesn't even understand the literal definition of the word faith.  Faith means "strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof," where as atheists (and most agnostics such as my self), as well as the countless religious individuals who agree with the arguments for evolution, have abundant evidence for development and evolution of life through time.  If you actually want to judge for your self, then start doing some searcher for evolution on Google Scholar, or if you have time take a geological history or paleontology course at a local university (just don't interrupt class with a creationist rant every day, some people do and the teachers generally hate them for constantly disrupting lectures.  Ask only intelligent questions during class and save the rant for afterward).  Since you posted a video of an ass from one side of the debate, I suppose I shall furnish one of an ass on the other side.

The main speaker, Donald Prothero (the author of the article in the Complex Eye thread), doesn't come out until about ten or so minutes into the talk.  If you have the time (its fairly long), would you please watch this, refute Prothero, and then defend the ID video?

Bryant...man, no offense, but I'm not gonna sit through 1 hour and 46 minutes of this.  I gave you a very short clip of a much longer video.    I could have posted a debate between Turek and Hitchens which goes on for over an hour, but I know NO ONE is gonna sit through all that.

1. Faith = trust.  Trust is whatever...not limited to God.
2. You say No one is arguing that we're descended from crocodiles.   I personally have listened to instructors claim that we are descended from fishlike or lizardlike creatures!  Yeah...I think he's nuts too.  Lol!  But there are some out there who do propose such stuff.

Lastly, clearly this stuff is angering you and you are taking it as a personal insult.  I assure you that I do not mean it as such.  I consider you a friend and am not trying to anger you.

Yeah, I figured that clip was a bit long, but figured it would be much more informative than posting some attack video from Richard Dawkins.

1) My dictionary offers two different definitions for the word 'faith.'  The first belonging more to the statement 'I'm faithful to my wife,' and the second 'I have faith in God.'  I opted to post the second, as it seemed the more prudent definition.

2) There is considerable fossil evidence suggesting that we share a common ancestor with reptiles like alligators, such as fish like critters.  If you disagree I suggest we take a field trip a) to some museums or universities to look at fossil collections and then 2) to the field to see how these remains fit in the geologic setting.

I apologize if I sounded heated, I assure you that I took no personal offense in your statements.
