The forum is       new, brand new!
                          empty, really empty!

I think one of the greatest reasons people come to a forum is for info, real info from real people.   As a former member of AlaTrails I know there is a lot of good info still on the old and "extinct" pages of that great place.  I hope to in the next few days/weeks to slowly pull some great info and links off of AlaTrails and add them to some "Sticky" posts here at Bama Backpacker's Forum.

Great things like the links to maps, groups, trail websites and the like.

I would really like to work to get the forum moving and to make a place where people can come and find the information they are looking for and also to learn from some new friends.

If you have any suggestions of particular useful content please let me know!
