1) What is the purpose of this "new forum menu" and how do I use it?

2) How do I get to it?

3) Will it solve the issues of my attempts at creating categories being thwarted so that the categories are created under "webdossier's hideaway" instead of under my newly created forum itself?

4) And, will the forum I created be accessible by readers of my page when they simply click on the Forum "tab"/link on the left of my page wall?
------------------------------
Just went to my forum creation menu and again attempted to "build my forum" and was immediately taken to the same "webdossier's hideaway" place with all the categories in place (in german) from other people's previous attempts.

There is no apparent way to create my own categories OR ELSE I am not able to figure out how to use it at all.  It is a vicious circle for me in that even when I saw that page again in my own forum that now listed English forums and my forum, deleted the English forums causing me to go to the page of my forum by default, clicked on the link entitled "create categories now" I was still taken to the webdossier's hideaway category list instead of an empty list that would presumably exist in my forum since I have not as yet been successful at creating the categories in my own forum.  My attempts can be seen in webdossier's hideaway category list as the ones entitled "HELP WANTED" with & without a series of sub-categories under it, "SERVICES" with & without sub categories, etc., for all things that I put in the very first time and subsequent times that went into the wrong place which happens to be the only place I am taken to when I attempt to create my own categories and sub-categories.

Also, I can NOT add the app or share anything about it on my page until I have been able to figure it out myself.  That would be unprofessional of me.  I am an old-school pre-internet ex-programmer and if I can't figure out how to use it, who else among my readers will be able to figure it out???  Seriously!  It needs to be fixed so that it works before I will be willing to suggest it to others as though I am giving it a stamp of approval myself.

1. It is the same menu. Just better-looking one.

2. You dont have to do anything. It is just there.

3. It is interesting that you are still having that problem. Could you tell me the browser and operating system you are using. For example internet explorer 6 and XP?

4. It is available at the moment. No problem. Please let me know the URL of your page, so I can check it.

looks nice....but is there a way to let the forum inside of the frame in the fanpage?
i click on forummenupoint and i see the overview about the topics....
when i click on a topic the forum opens in fullscreen in the same windows...
thats what ppl really dont like....

another thing is there is no backlink....you need to be able to have a backlink button
to your fanpage you know...

last thing i would like to see....when i open the topic-overview i can click on last threats
to see last posts....is it possible to add a "new" image to the topic-overview when there
are new answers?

oh and menu looks nice...have i sad that?

edit: a better looking logo in the sidemenu would be sweet ^^
something better then the orange icon you know

ooooooh and before i forget...moderators need to be able to edit posts of users....
if there is spam in it or so moderators need to be able to edit the post to delete not
wanted content...also the admin cannot do it too

and maybe it is possible to give someone else adminstatus too?
we do have a fusion of 2 sides and we are to admins...one on every side...so the owner
you know...i have created the forum but i can give the owner of the other side just moderator

so for now i am done

damn i get more and more ideas how about a function do thank another user for his answer
and a function to give a post a "like it" and other option would be "helpfull"

hopefully now i am done ^^ oh menu looks really awesome

There is no way to put your forum entirely inside of your fan page. Only the main screen of your forum is available.

At the moment there is no fanpage-backlink option. However, you can put your fanpage logo at the top but it is a paid option. Here is an example:  http://apps.facebook.com/facebook_forums/last_threads.php?forum=614

No need. If there are new answers they get listed at the top. No problem :cooll: If there is no reply then a special image will show on the left (yellow)

We might change the icon soon.

Giving someone admin status is a good idea. We like to add that feature. Thanks for the idea.

We once integrated like feature but removed later. However, we can put it again.

Thanks,
