I am the Administrator of DSE Small Investors Platform (DSIP) forum. My Status is now FORUM GOD.

Many users of my forum strongly objected about the status. They claimed the status has been hurt their religious sentiment.

I humbly request the Admin to change the status and rename with a good catchy word.

I agree wholeheartedly with Taj U Ahmed, but I propose you do away TOTALLY with the idea of assigning us labels based on how many times we post in a particular forum.  What purpose does it serve?  What's the point?

Calm down Bob, n00b is not a bad thing, he and I we're n00bs here a few months back and we're n00bs again in the other FB forums   Look at it this way, it's like getting to hit the reset button on your birthday, you spring chicken you!

The labeling of our forum status just gives us something to strive for, for some people it brings a sense of self accomplishment. Do you really want to be responsibe for taking that away from them Bob?

I'm quite calm, thank you Cari, and because I don't know you, I wouldn't say anything to you in this forum that you might be offended by anymore than I would if I walked up to you on the street for the first time.

And like you, I have an opinion, and my opinion is that the Forum Labels are silly, so I stated that.  I am on the verge of becoming a "Demigod" in another Forum, and, like the originator of the thread, I find it offensive.

Well, I was just trying to make light of a silly thing, and being upset by a newbie rank/running joke is just silly. I disagree with your proposition all forum ranks should be done away with. But instead of being rude to you, I tried joking with you, you know, being nice. My apologies, as it was meant to be jovial, most people I deal with can take a joke. I can, however, still see your point about the "god" labels, that would be offensive to religious and some athiest folk alike and I agree those terms should be tweaked. Sure we all have our opinions, and are relatively free to voice them, everyone. Besides, you know what they say about opinions...

But in all seriousness, though I personally am not offended by the "God" rank, I can definitely see how some would be. I suggest something like Forum Master or Forum King or Forum Ass-rapist instead.

Dear Administrator,

Complaints are coming repeatedly from Forum Members regarding FORUM GOD and FORUM DEMIGOD status. I think you will understand the sentiment of the members. I feel really really offended whenever members raise the question about the status. The post has been initiated more than 2 months before. But still the status has not been changed.

Requested again to think of it, it will be difficult for me to continue the forum  with the said status.
