So let me get this straight............Kelsey Grammer can end a 15 yr marriage by phone, Larry King can be on divorce #9, Britney Spears had a 55 hour marriage, Jesse James and Tiger Woods, while married, were having sex with EVERYONE, 53% of Americans get divorced and 30-60% cheat on their spouses. Yet, same-sex marriage is going to destroy the institution of marriage? Really? Re-post if you find this ironic.
The point in that seemed quite humorous to me. I started picturing various comedians' response to "The Institution Of Marriage".
Chris Rock: "To be a black man in the institution of marriage means handing your dick over to your wife with no deposit in return!"
George Carlin: "I believed in the institution of marriage until I reached the age of reason!"
Kathy Griffin: "Who wouldn't wanna marry me, baby, look at this (points to carcass), I'm freakin gorgeous!" (throws up a little in my mouth)
Joy Behar: "Pffff, marriage is for schmucks! Just tell'em to give me his paycheck and car keys so I can go out and have a good time!"
Whoopi Goldberg: "Baby, I've married them all, I've divorced them all. How do you think a black woman in America gets a Jewish last name?"
Well, I suppose this list could go on, but I'm getting tired. Point is, how do destroy something that's probably NEVER been sound to begin with? |
