Why aren't these sites all syncronized?  And why can't I participate with fv from within the fb app?

They're not synchronized because they're all different in their own little way. By "fb app", I'm sure you're referring the Facebook application for the iPhone and Android systems. The difference between the original Facebook application and Facebook touch, is that they're both optimized to work differently.

First of all, I'm going to assume that you have an iPhone or sorts. Considering that you're posting in the Cell Phones category. I'm sure you cannot play FarmVille on any Facebook mobile-related application for the simple fact that it requires Flash Player. Something that has not yet been released for any phone, such as the iPhone. Regardless of it's system.

Facebook Mobile and Facebook Touch are two entirely different programs. Touch has full-featured web browsing for Facebook, and Facebook mobile is simply a cheap knock-off of the entire website itself, crushed into disaster. It's defiantly not suggested in comparison to Facebook Touch. Long story short; They wouldn't be able to work together.
