 OFFLINE | Hello,
its regarding fake profile..somebody is being repeatedly creating fake profiles in my sister's name using her picture, writing derogatory matter about her and also adding her friends...around 14 15 fake profiles have been created so far. No doubt after reporting to facebook team via impersonation form they got removed. But at last because it has become a vicious circle for us. The culprit keep on making the fake profile and we have to get it deleted every time and its a never ending process. Therefore I request you to suggest me some other way to stop all this.As I am completely helpless. pls help me out...pls |

OFFLINE | there is no way to stop it - and asking about it here isn't going to help anything, since this "forum" isnt run by facebook, it's just an app run by people who dont work for facebook |

OFFLINE | Abraxus, this forum isn't run by facebook, but sure is for discussing about things and clearing their doubts.
And Amit, there is not really a way to stop it, except what your doing already, getting new profiles deleted. |

OFFLINE | the problem is not that the profile does not get removed from the site... after reporting the matter to the facebook team via impersonation form thefake profile gets removed but the person again creates a new fakr profile with the same abusive picture and derogatory matter..getting the profile deleted is not the alternative now...want to put an end to all this... someone who could suggest some way out pls.... |
