"Equipment? What's that? Can we eat it and become strong like Pop-eye? Or do we collect 7 of it then make a wish on the great MetalSeadramon that gets summoned with it? o.O"

Nohohohohohoho little Tamer~ Equipments are basically...That shirt on your back. Yes equipments are basically clothes. You wear them, look good in it (hopefully), and feel slightly stronger!!!

"So I can become IRONMAN YAY!!!"

*smacks invisible aspiring Tamer with a harisen* No. That's going overboard and is in violation of Copyright Policies. D: Equipment are sort of like normal pieces of clothing, plain shirts, slacks, sunglasses, some sneakers...gloves...etc.

"I HAZ OSUM SUNGLASSES YAYYY I'M STRONGERRRRRRRR~~"

HOLD IT. Equipment is just one part of a really huge whole. Having a wearable shirt, glove, or such is just the beginning. You have to Merge it.

"whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? D: But I look cooler now! Liek a baws."

Errm...So yeah. Read on to know what's to know about Equipments, stats, and MERGING.

...........................................................................
Chapter 1: Equipment
...........................................................................

Any MMOGamer worth his salt should know that Equipment is there to be worn. In this game however, there's no such thing as +10 Ancient Sword of Imperialdramon PM to equip. What we do get are pieces of clothing. Shirts, pants, shorts, gloves and others. These function to add to your stats but they need to be "processed", so to speak.

Equipment can be divided into two, Attributes and Shell. Shells would be the ones to that are directly equipped, shirts, shorts, accessories and the likes. Attributes are the ones that give the Shell stats to go with it. Alone, both of these are useless, united, they stand give pretty important effects.

First let's talk about Shells. Shells are, as previously and almost nonchalantly repeated, said. These are the Shirts, Shorts, and other items you can directly wear. These can be obtained from High Class Digi-Eggs or from certain shop NPCs. (see http://www.fbulletin.com/forum/mercantile_npc_101-18727.html) Also each of them has a certain number of Attribute Slots and Efficiency Percentage usually depending on their classification and rarity.

Attribute Slots - These define the number of attribute items you can place in an item. Most of the time these only have 2 or 1 slots. It is uncertain of there will be clothing articles carrying more than two slots.

Efficiency Percentage - this tells you how much of an Attribute's value is added to your stats. For example, the usual value of efficiency for Shirts is 50%. That means if you have a 100HP Attribute inserted in the T-Shirt, you only get 50HP to your max. :< It seems that cash-items have higher Efficiency Percentages as compared  to those found in-game.

Types:

1) T-Shirt - These are somewhat equivalent to your "Upper Armor". Usually they have two Attribute Slots with an efficiency of 50%. They can contain HP Attribute Chips

2) Pants - These are somewhat equivalent to your "Lower Armor". Usually it has two Attribute Slots with an efficiency of 50%. It holds DEF Attribute Chips (Please correct me if I'm wrong, my memory is fuzzy on pants)

3) Gloves - Gloves are...gloves. Wear 'em on your hand.. Anyway they usually have 2 Attribute Slots with an efficiency of 55%. They can contain ATK Attribute Chips.

4) Footwear - Sandals, Boots, Sneakers...Whatever goes on your foot. These have only 1 Attribute Slot with an efficiency of 50%. The MS Attributes go here.

5) Accessories - these are further divided into upper, middle, and lower accessories...There's similar to the headgears of R*gn*r*k Online. They all carry only 1 Slot with an efficiency of 100%. They carry DS Attributes.

...........................................................................
Chapter 2: Attributes
...........................................................................

Attributes are special items that give stats to other-wise unstatted equipments. These vary by part, non-stackable, and have a bit of a higher drop rate than Mercenary Digi-Eggs. They have to be appraised before they are inserted. An attribute of a certain "Grade" will have a possible range of stats which will be finalized when it is appraised. View the item's description by hovering your mouse over it to know it's grade and its range of possible stats.

Certain attributes go into certain Shells, this has already been discussed in the Shells section.

...........................................................................
Chapter 3: Merging
...........................................................................

So now you have your beautiful sunglasses and a nice DS Attribute item. What do you do now? Well if the Tutorial quest would be followed, you would be sprawling in the mud right about now. You should now merge those two useless items and make them into a useful item!

To "Merge" an attribute to an equipment, the Attribute must have been "Analyzed". To do this, select the < Equipment Merge > NPC, then "Analyze equipment". Place your Attribute on the slot and analyze it.

Now we move on to the Merging process. To Merge, select the < Equipment Merge > NPC then "Merge Equipment. The first slot is where the Shell goes, and the two/one slot/s that open after it would be where the attributes go. Merging costs a certain amount of Bits. The higher the grade of the Attribute, the more it costs to be inserted. You can also remove Attributes already inserted in the Shell by clicking the attribute and selecting "Remove"... (or close to that, I don't have my DMO Open atm so I can't remember the exact buttons)

Appraising, Merging, and removing attributes costs BIT.

...........................................................................
Chapter 4: So Why Do We Care?
...........................................................................

"So why should we care? We have more stats now but our Digimons are still weak! Liar! Cheater!"

Ohohoho little one, you surely haven't read my Raising guide (http://apps.facebook.com/fbulletin/digimon_raising_101-18743.html) yet! Well a portion of your stats power up your Digimon!...So the higher your stats are, the bigger the bonuses your Digimon gets from you! We'll all be happy that way! :3

-end-

Blablablablablablablablablabla...I know you know what I put here. ;D

You sir, are a bard of the internet.  Your writings speak to us more than so dingy step by step on programming Java ever could.
