| My calcium is high intermittently, and my PTH is always in LAB range. I can't get anywhere! I have all the symptoms, and they found a 5.5 mm inferior RT Parathyroid nodule on my right parathyroid gland but then they lied and covered it up as if it was never found. Then I was dismissed from the practice! No clue why, no referral etc. Then I had another ultrasound done at a different place and they found it as well so I thought the denying it was there thing, was done with. I go for a biopsy (I know it's a no-no) and they scan me and say "there's nothing there." I stayed up all night panicked about it because I have dysphagia (trouble swallowing) so I was keyed up about it. Thing is, the doctor that sent me for the U/S is connected to another practice that banned me for no reason after being diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome and laughed at about another disability by a doctor there. I personally think they called over to the radiology place and told them to find nothing. I was abandoned right in the middle of a crisis with this nodule so how do you fix it? You get out of it and any liability by telling them to find nothing. Malpractice? Yes. Reality? Yes. I feel like I'm spinning in circles and being sabotaged at every turn. Feeling helpless!! |
