Lol!  I heard that.  I immediately said to myself that was gonna come back to haunt Trump.  I dont think he meant it to be racist.  But thats how it will be perceived.  Unless....this tornado stuff and this Bin Laudin stuff pushes his statement off the radar.  Bet the Dems wont let that go though.

Yeah, I think it is that dreaded card being played. The only reason he said it was because Obama had just had a photo-op while playing B-ball just a day or two before hand. Dems will let it go only until the honest campaign starts. I won't vote for him, but Donald will make this fun.

BTW Dennis, I can't help but to point out that my Tigers of LSU did in fact win last season. You kinda disappeared just before the last days of myspace and I never got to rub it in properly. Good news is that most news sources have our two teams as National Champ favorites. Gonna be a helluva game again this year.

To be completely honest...I especially made a point to go to the Myspace forums to eat a little crow.  And I did ask about ya.  Especially when we moved over here.  

The myspace forums shut down.  I could get absolutely no tech help and no help with trolls that plagued that forum either.  So I deleted my account.  So few weeks later, Dod brought the WC over here.  (Of course I begged him too...more than once).  Lol!  ITs one reason I want the WC group to be successful.

So LSU and Bama are early favorites for the BCSNC this year?

i still haven't figured out if the donald is serious about running, or if this was meant to be a roadmap to republicans about how to defeat obama. or if maybe that's how it started, but since the republicans haven't stepped up to the challenge, he's decided to make a run.

but yeah, i heard the b-ball statement, and immediately thought he'd have been better off saying golf course, rather than b-ball court.

Maybe it's a ploy by the RNC: get trump to announce he;s going to run and make a lot of noise, then drop out before the primaries. That way whoever else actually goes for the nomination will look statesmanlike in comparison :-P

I'll say one thing, if that ins't the case, having Trump run in 2012 is a sure-fire way of getting 4 more years for Obama.....

it is amazing to me how last year the media loved trump, and now that he's gone against the golden boy, they feel that they must destroy him. and to be fair, miles, i don't think any of this can be attributed to anyone other than trump himself. let's be clear, he is NOT a conservative stalwart.

the way i view him, is that for now, we're stuck with him, because nobody else has the guts to actually go on the offensive. i don't like a lot of the things he says, because it just sounds silly, but i do wish somebody else would have the balls to vocally oppose obama. simply to take the kid glove off, and take him on. i mean the kool-aid is no longer being served. in 08 republicans really felt like they couldn't touch the anointed one, because of all the historic rhetoric being tossed around, and as a result, obama has pretty much had a free ride, particularly from the mainstream media. but now, there are a lot of pissed americans, just waiting for someone to take up the mantle.

I have NEVER cared for Donald Trump!  He annoys the crap out of me!! WTF is up with that hair?!  Dude!  Do you think there is ANYONE who doesn't know it's a triple comb-over?!  I hate his accent, his little "fish" mouth.  I think he's full of himself with an ego the size of Cincinati!  Is he a racist?  I have no idea.  I suspect that most of this is publicity for himself and his show.  Please, please, for the love of God, don't make me look at that man one more time!!!!

I think Trump is a complete Richard. In the Uk the word trump means to fart. Not sure I'd stick that in large letters on a building. An egotistical, greedy, ignorant, shredded wheat haired 'trump' of a man.

But he's rich and I doubt he gives a **** about me, or many people for that matter.

Well...let me jump on the Trump Band wagon them.  Lol!  One would think with Trump's money, he could afford a decent wig.  Also I do not believe he's a true conservative.  He may be pro-life now, but I dont think he's a conservative.  As I understand it he is also a big proponent of the use of "imminent domain" to take people's land away from them.  

Now, let me also mention that I have had great fun listening to his comments up to now.  Some of the things he said were just funny.  Lol!  But i hope he doesnt truly run because some conservatives will be lured by his tough talk about China and the Middle East.  And while all that might make for good watercooler / barbershop talk...it wont really fly in real world diplomacy.  

Trump would merely split the GOP vote and hurt conservatives in the long run.

Is Trump a racist?  Possibly.  Not because of the birther thing, but because of comments like "I have a great relationship with the blacks. I've always had a great relationship with the blacks" I think might be.

yeah, cause our reputation sure has been repaired by our current prez...
