  Eh...I dunno.  McCain was never gonna beat Obama.  No Charisma.  He looked old and decrepit.  Conservatives didnt trust him because he had this peculiar habit of stabbing the base in the back at critical times. Plus a lot of vets felt he was not the heroic POW he wanted people to think he was.  Lotta skeletons int hat old man's closet.
