I say not recently no I know there has been a freeze on payments for sometime but the condition of the roads & pavements are a joke also litter and lights are a common problem...I remember a few years back you could get a pie chart of the services that your council tax paid for you don't seem to see that anymore you just seem to continue paying and get taking for granted...Robert

I think its terrible how Tax and inflation is rising in this country
people are struggling to get the bare essentials,banks are struggling to give people higher interest rates
yet jobs and in my case student burseries arent rising?
How can normal people live like this if this is going to continue for god knows how long?

The Roads are a disgrace. Im all over the road trying to avoid the holes. the size of some of them is unbelievable. Council vans are out and about assessing them. the worst are getting filled with a temporary fill, it only takes a few days for them to appear again. Sick and tired of it, its like the wacky races trying to avoid holes and cars.Glasgow  Council should get their fingers out their holes and fix them right.

Sorry made a mistake on spelling meant to say Money's on title heading silly me :-) Anyhows there seems to be a pattern going on here regards Council tax or any tax you pay and expect to see your hard earned going somewhere and what do you see poor roads bad lighting rising crime increase on fuel,transport buses ect...As mentioned before our country is feeble when it comes to protesting i would love it in my lifetime if we all took to the streets in a peaceful protest but a protest all the same and let our Government know exactly how we feel....
