Why is the distance shown on the graphs not the same as the one listed next to the graph.

Hi, Richard,
The distance next to the graph is based on the record from the device. The distance on the graph is re-calculated based on the X-axis and Y-axis, i.e. the map itself will re-calculate the distance.  There will be a slight difference between the 2 numbers but shouldn't be too far.  If you think the gap is too big, can you send your link to support@brytonsport.com and we can take a look from there? Hope this helps. Thank you.

Hi, Richard,

The difference is 1% which is within reasonable range.  Hope this helps!
(11.73 - 11.61 = 0.12
0.12/11.61 = 1%)

1% of a 10 mile ride is not too bad.  I am doing a 150 mile ride this weekend.  1% of 150 miles means a little more.

Was a great ride.  My Rider 50 worked well I did have a little bigger mileage difference.  On the First leg the graph had 84.43 miles and text had 77.39 miles.  second leg graph had 66.52 miles and text 58.27 miles.

What information is used to give the stats for the ride?
