You know the Facebook like button, well there should be a dislike button  (on peoples status's btw))

They could if they looked into it. I mean they have like, it's basically the same, it doesn't mean anything, they could just install another like button but call it dislike.

Facebook should think that dislike button might be a negative factor on the traffic and usage.

I don't really want a dislike button at all. And facebook "can" do it, but they shouldn't and they won't. It deencourages you to post if you get a dislike rating.

Ah, I guess, I've never thought of it that way, most people seem to think It's a good thing.

I recently found that there actually is a dislike button, It's a firefox addon, so only firefox users with the addon can see & use it.

I don't think It's such a good idea no more :/

There is a plugin for FireFox that is a dislike button. Anyone who has the plugin can see who dislikes a post and can use the button.

I downloaded and installed it, but now that I have it, I just don't use it. I don't see the point. Guess it's cause I don't 'like' most status messages people post.

Ah, it also puts ads on your facebook homepage if I remember correctly (on the left hand side)
