I can accept the 'popup' missions and can action them as normal, however I am unable to meet the requirements.  Unlike a normal mission, defeating the specified Digimon has absolutely no effect on the mission status.

20 - 25 Gabumon defeats later

still 'Gabumon to defeat 0:3'

I have received three such quests and they are all the same.

Also logging out removes the missions from my quest list and moving to another map well earn you a fresh prompt to attempt that mission.  At this point it is still on the quest menu.

just ran into a bunch of newbies on luce that couldn't do the emergence of mutation quest. there was a whole group of em that couldn't get anything to count

Turns out that all of the quests from the digivice are broken.  Even if you complete a quest, it will appear on your digivice and attempting to do the quest more than once results in a system crash.
