OFFLINE | A friend's post reminded me of a 7 day diet I was once on-
Day 1 - veggies
Day 2 - fruit
Day 3 - fruits and veggies
Day 4 - bananas and skim milk
Day 5 - cabbage soup
danged if I can remember the rest! I did lose some weight.... of course back then I really didn't need to lose!!
What diet works best for you.... for losing, for maintenance??? |

OFFLINE | I think Sylvester Stallone said it best one time on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno: "You gotta zip the lips!"
What works best for me is eating healthy and high fiber foods in moderation combined with at least an hour of exercise each day. And by healthy foods, I've switched to Soy milk completely, and cut out all cheese products as much as possible. And if I do use cheese at home, I always use 100% fat free.
2 out of my 3 meals are cereal: Oatmeal in the morning, and Fiber One Cereal as my last meal. My 2nd meal is where I might vary, but I still try to keep it something conventionally healthy and in moderation.
As for liquids, I very rarely ever have carbonated fluids and almost always drink LOTS of filtered water, watered down green tea, or watered down fruit juices. And by lots of fluids, I mean at least a gallon's worth during warm & humid month, and it's usually more. In the colder months, I may still drink almost a gallon's worth a day, but at least 3/4 a gallon's worth a day.
....and I very rarely ever have junk food.
And that's me |
