OFFLINE | Yeah, the Bama vs LSU football game. #1 vs #2 in the nation.
Yeah Mark, I'm getting really nervous. Lol! Should be one of the toughest games in several years.
You know, what sux? One of us will get beat in this game. The other will (imo) go on to win the SEC and play for the National Championship. 2nd place will go to one of the East division teams and we both know that no (SEC) Eastern Division team can beat either of our teams.
So the LSU / BAma winner will play for the BCSNC.
The loser of the SEC championship (Probably Florida) will go to the Sugar Bowl.
That leaves the loser of the LSU / Bama game stuck at 3rd place and in a lesser bowl.
A lot riding on this game eh? You going?

Nah, I can't go, I gotta work.
I am nervous though. IMHO the only team that can beat either LSU or Bama is LSU or Bama. OU, OSU, Stanford, Boise, Wisconsin are all a step or two (ok more like 4 steps) behind our teams and that sucks 'cause one of the two best teams will be left out of the national championship game.
Oh well, that's the way it goes. November 5 can't come quick enough. This has the makings of the greatest SEC game.......ever.
Here's something that will keep you up at nights......over 1/2 of LSU's defensive rotation is either sophomores or freshmen......when those young guys, like Mathieu, really learn how to play instead of relying on talent alone, they will be very vicious. |

OFFLINE | Yep. I think LSU and Bama are easily the 2 greatest teams (at least in my lifetime) that I have ever seen. Having said that, we have also seen what can happen to Bama if we arent focused or are overlooking someone. We were sluggish in the 1st half against Vandy and so we cant allow that to happen if we want to keep winning. |
