Please don't think I wasn't listening last Thursday, but I am still not quite sure what this topic is about. Correct me if I'm wrong.
This topic is about whether Internet/cyberspace is a place for democracy to work and in which way can democracy be established/presented. ???? |

My take on this is slightly different. I understand it as follows:
How much potential for the improvement/boost for democracy is/may/will be provided by the internet?
+ side: looks into, presents and emphasizes examples where internet has been boosting democracy
- side: basically downplays the feasibility/ability/potential internet has for democracy and refutes examples provided by the + group |
