I lived in New Mexico and found out about Hatch Green Chile. I am hooked. This recipe is not fancy but very delicious. Soak and cook beans with a pork chop (with a bone). Brown hamburger meat (90/10). Cut Carrots and potatoes. Add water, and seasoning. Add most of the beans (bone has been removed), simmer.
Instead of hamburger, I use chicken.
