Always wondered whats the secret behind beautiful lips ? I'm sure most of you are more curious about achieving clear and healtier looking skin; but for those who have discolored lips far off from your complexion you may want to tune in. Retin A .05% and Hydroquione in pee sized amounts lightens dark lips beyond measures. I've came across persons who've used LA percentages ranging from as low as 40% and up in series to achieve desired results.Yes. I know what it sounds like but these are the secrets. Well the average person knows nothing about these secrets and if you think about it , most women who know aren't to open when it comes to sharing beauty secrets, in terms of products that is. Retin A - The Retin-A and Avita brands of tretinoin are used to treat acne. The Renova brand of tretinoin is used to reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and mottled skin discoloration, and to make rough facial skin feel smoother. Retin-A may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide( drugs.com). Retin A is considered the holy grail to some women of older age because its proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Check your high end skin product ! you are bound to find some sort of tretinoin!

Hydroquione- Hydroquinone cream is a skin- lightenning agent. It works by inhibiting an enzyme reaction in skin cells (drugs.com). I'm not a huge fan of HQ , probably because it has long term complications or maybe because it gave me ugly patches (before i knew better that is)on my face. However, I am up and arms for it being used with retin-a to treat dark lips. Afterall, the portion sizes are small.

Lactic Acid - Lactic acid peels are just one type of chemical peel, but they are preferred by many -- again, because of lactic acid's reputation as a gentler alpha hydroxy acid. You can use peels to improve wrinkles, some types of acne and discolorations on your skin (howstuffworks). Sigh. When it comes to chemical peels there is much to explain and the research is so pervasive we'll probably get tired of hearing the word "lactic acid". So for the sake of it lets just say that LA has various percentage strengths and that it is commonly used by dermatologist. Regards, although your it would probably seem like your derm is charging an arm and a leg for the procedure , LA is an inexpensive product. Your paying a large bill  for professional service more than it being for the product alone
