Alright so i know that there is the PE Etek 3 and Empire Axe thats within the price range of the DP FX. I want to know if the FX is really that bad compared to the other guns listed. I am actually really intersted in the FX and I have not tried any of them out. I just hear a lot of people bashing on it and i dont think it can be that bad. Opinions?

I had one before and had no issues with it what so ever. The FX is not a bad marker at all. It worked flawless with me. One issue I did have with it was the RAPS ASA, but that was an easy fix. You really can't go wrong with the it. Nice thing that the DP Fusion FX has is it does come with a oled board wich the axe nor does the PE etek 3 have.

Yea that sounds good man, thx. Currently I have a DP G4 and never had a problem with RAPS ASA or leaks. I think really it was the "PE Fanoby" people killing the credibility of the FX cuz im sure every gun has its problems and preference.

I Actually found this on TechPb's site which compares the guns well:

"For the sake of this thread i will be using all new (Early 2011) guns in the price range of $400-$600

Poppits:

Etek 3 LT/AM
Price: $495/ $595/ $699
Marker type: Stack tube poppit
The Etek 3's Are probably the most reliable markers in this price range on the market currently, They are very similar to the 07 and 08 Ego's but without QEV's.
The Etek 3 also has the best packaging/goodies for the price range including: Gun, Two piece 690 barrel, Folding zipper case, Manual, Tons of orings, Eclipse gun oil and allen keys. Etek's and Ego's are famous for they're reliability and how you pick them up and they work all day without problems.
TL;DR Want a gun that can throw paint all day long? Get the Etek.
Mike from TechPB also has a great review on the Etek 3 LT/AM found here:

Empire AXE
Price: $449
Type: Inline poppit valve
The packaging on the axe leaves something to be desired; Aside from the tool kit they skimp on goodies but the marker makes up for it in features such as the new Relay ASA and the twist lock bolt out back design. The Axe uses a new micro switch board making the trigger pull not have the bounce Mini's were notorious for.
The Axe is a lot longer than the mini's making it feel very good in the hands, The shot is smoother than the Etek but not quite as smooth as some spool valve markers.
TL;DR The Axe is more efficient, Smooth and quite than the other poppits in its price range but requires maintenance like some spool valve markers
Mike has another great review of the Axe found here:

Dangerous Power FX
Price: $499
Type: FASOR Stack Tube Poppit
The FX is in between the Axe and the Etek on packaging, No fancy case but comes with some goodies. The FX has the nicest board out of the Axe and Etek even including cheater modes (Shhhh!) These guns currently have the most color combination's out of the etek and the axe. Something to consider when buying the FX is it only has one regulator which could cause the solenoid to over pressurize if the reg gets cranked up to high.
TL;DR The FX will perform on par with the axe and etek but it makes up for lacking in the packaging/ LPR with the other cool features.

Spool Valve Markers:

Proto Reflex Rail
Price: $499
Type: Single tube spool
The Reflex Rail definitly doesn't lack on the packaging coming with a folding soft case, Barrel sock, Warranty card, Two piece proto barrel, orings/detents, manual, lube and allen keys. The reflex rail is slightly smoother than previous rail markers because of the new bumper found on the front of the bolt. The downsides of the reflex rail are having to maintain it more than poppits and not being able to shoot in 40* weather. The good part about the Reflex Rail is how smooth and quieter causing you to get a slightly more accurate shot when shooting with one hand/ Reloading.
TL;DR The Reflex is smoother than other guns in its price bracket but requires more maintenance.
